Going to the Houston zoo!

Our play group put together a trip to the zoo and since Alanna had never been, I thought that sounded like alot of fun. Alanna had the best time!! She saw giraffes, monkies, exotic fish and even a sea lion show. Her favorite part was the petting zoo. She got to brush the goats. We had such a good time that I cant wait to go back soon!!

Our new home!!

It has been a crazy but rewarding October! We finally found our dream house and moved in within a couple of weeks. We love our new house! It is exactly what I want in a home. Our favorite thing to do is to sit on our patio and look at our amazing back yard with golf course view.

Vienna Trip!!

At the end of July, Wes and I took a week long trip to Vienna, Austria. Alanna had a great time with her granparents. We saw some amazing palaces, fortresses and churches. We went to some other towns like Rust, Melk, and Salzburg. We had a wonderful time and took 660 pictures. If you would like to see all of the pictures, click here

Alanna's birthday party!

Alanna's birthday party was so much fun!! We swam in the pool and ate burgers and hotdogs! I really appreciate everyone who came!! It was a very special day!! :)

Happy 1st Birthday Alanna!!

Alanna is walking!

I was a little worried about Alanna walking but a week ago she finally was brave enough to let go of things and take off. She practices all the time and is very proud of herself. I am glad that she is walking near her first birthday! The most steps she has taken so far is 10!

Alanna's dedication

We dedicated Alanna on Mother's Day at our church, Faith Bible in The Woodlands.

Wes wrote a letter to Alanna and read it to her. It was a promise how we would raise her in loving home with Christ-like values.

Mari and Jonathan came and shared the special day with us. We were so happy they came!

Tu Tu cute!!

Having Fun!

Alanna is getting big and is more interactive. She talks jibberish all day and makes razzing or bubbling sounds. It is really funny! Now a days, she likes to play in her toybox or go to the park.


She loves it when daddy swings her!

I never know when Alanna wakes up from bedtime or naps because she plays quietly with her blankie or her pacifiers so one day Wes peeked in her room and found Alanna playing and when she saw her "da da" (as she would say) she starts to laugh!

7 1/2 months old!

Alanna is growing up soo fast. She is crawling around and is even trying to stand by herself. Her favorite thing to do at home is to crawl to her play kitchen and lift herself up to a standing position. I am not ready for Alanna to walk yet! I am very proud that she likes to eat applesauce, pears, bananas, peaches, squash, sweet potatoes, and carrots. If it is green then she doesnt want to eat it. (I dont know where she got that from) She is also napping and sleeping at night very well. Lately, she has been sleeping till 8 in the morning. On Sunday, Wes actually had to wake her up at 8:15! Love it!

Audrey's 1st Birthday!

Audrey had her first "Sweet Pea" birthday party and we were so happy to be apart of it. She had green and pink decorations with a cute sweet pea cake. Audrey got some great gifts and all the kids had fun being together.
